Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Year 6 Teacher to join our team at a large mainstream primary school in Wythenshawe. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, marking, teaching and assessing students, as well as attending parents' evenings and participating in school trips.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience working with Key Stage 2 students, particularly in year 6. They will be skilled at using a range of techniques to ensure students achieve their best, and experience in preparing students for SATS would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and assessing year 6 students
  • Planning and marking student work
  • Attending parents' evenings and participating in school trips
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to support student progress

Requirements:

  • Recent experience working with Key Stage 2 students, particularly in year 6
  • Strong teaching and assessment skills
  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues and parents/carers
  • Experience in preparing students for SATS (desirable)
