The Role

You will lead the Mental Health team, deputising on behalf of the Deputy/Head of Healthcare when required. You will work closely with partners to maintain a robust, high-quality clinical service for patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Mental Health team.
  • Deputise on behalf of the Deputy/Head of Healthcare when required.

  • Ensure that own clinical practice is consistent with autonomous practice within the role.
  • Model a culture of compassion, care, courage, commitment, communication, and competence.
  • C coach, line manage, and develop clinician staff; support and contribute in undertaking audits and governance and contribute to developing and reviewing clinical/non-clinical Local Operating Protocols for the site.
  • Also chair and facilitate specific healthcare meetings with the team and different partners, provide clinical supervision (training available), and carry out investigations locally and for the wider region.

Requirements

You must be a registered nurse with current NMC registration and have experience of working with patients who have complex mental health conditions.

Salary and Benefits

This role comes with an estimated salary range of £65,000 - £68,680 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as discounts on shopping and leisure activities and support to grow in your role and continue your professional development.
