Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our Intermediate Care Team based in Glenrothes Community Hospital. As part of the Integrated Community Assessment and Support Service (ICASS), you will play a vital role in providing assessment and treatment services to adults, particularly older people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat patients in various settings, including inpatient wards, homes, day hospitals, and community hospitals.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions, support early discharge, and enable patients to remain independent in their homes.
  • Hold a degree in Physiotherapy, be registered with the HCPC, and possess relevant experience.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

  • Ability to travel throughout the area, as community working is an essential aspect of this role.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including public holidays, as required.
  • Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
