This role is a purpose-built care home designed for older people requiring general or dementia residential and nursing care.
To be considered for this position, candidates must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
As the Unit Manager, key responsibilities include:
- Providing inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues and overseeing the delivery of high-quality clinical and pastoral care.
- Being the home's nursing expert, combining nursing skills with managerial and leadership skills.
- Care plan development and assessments.
- Delivering personalized centered care to all residents alongside the team.
- Engaging with service users to understand their needs and provide excellent care services.
- Maintaining good working knowledge of CQC standards.
- BUILDING and maintaining excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and staffing teams.
- Promoting ownership of care programs by involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing, and evaluating care programs within the home.
The successful candidate will receive an excellent salary of £50,000 per annum. This position is a permanent full-time role working through day shifts.
