Job Title: Assistant Librarian

Queen's University Belfast is seeking a talented Assistant Librarian to join the Digital and Information Services team at the AFBI Library.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver library and research support services for designated groups of students and research staff.
  • Work closely with the Medical, Healthcare & AFBI Librarian to promote library services and resources.
  • Provide training and teaching to small and large groups on the use of electronic and printed resources.

Requirements:

  • Professional qualification in library/information science or related area.
  • Significant relevant experience, including at least two of the following:
  • Working with electronic and printed resources to support a defined customer group in a library setting.
  • Training/teaching small and large groups.
  • Working in an academic library.
