Role Overview:


The Senior Mechanical Project Coordinator will spearhead the Mechanical division in executing a substantial M&E initiative valued at £200 million, projected to span over four years. This role is pivotal in managing the mechanical installations from the design phase through to successful completion. Key responsibilities encompass project planning, resource management, financial oversight, and ensuring adherence to timelines. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, contractors, and clients, will be essential to meet project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Oversight:
Formulate, track, and oversee project budgets, accounting for profit margins, initial costs, and procurement expenditures.

Project Scheduling:
Develop comprehensive project timelines and schedules to facilitate precise progress tracking and reporting.

Resource Allocation:
Identify and allocate essential resources to ensure effective and efficient project delivery.

Professional Execution:
Guarantee successful project completion within established parameters while upholding a professional demeanor.

Quality Assurance Development:
Establish and supervise the creation of the Project Quality Plan and Trade Quality Plans.

Issue Resolution:
Oversee processes for identifying and rectifying defects.

Project Transition:
Ensure a smooth and effective transition of the project, providing ongoing support to the client or end user throughout the process.
