Job OverviewAs a key member of the team, the Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for monitoring and managing project financials on high-end residential builds, ensuring projects are completed on budget while protecting the company's financial interests.
- Prepare and manage tender, contract documents, and project budgets to ensure accurate cost estimation and control.
- Analyse and control project costs, perform risk management, and address cost variances to maintain profitability.
- Oversee subcontractor relationships, including procurement, accounts, and quality control to guarantee exceptional standards.
- Conduct site visits to monitor costs, subcontractor performance, and project quality, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Provide financial reports, progress updates, and cost analysis for ongoing and ad hoc projects to support informed decision-making.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and housing associations to facilitate project goals and sales targets.
To succeed in this role, applicants must have prior experience working for a Housebuilder or Residential Contractor, hold a full driving licence, and demonstrate good tenure, seeking a permanent position.
