Operational Training Specialist

As an Operational Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional care by empowering staff with the necessary skills and knowledge.
About You:
We are seeking an experienced trainer with a passion for coaching and development to join our team. With a strong background in healthcare training and a proven ability to motivate staff, you will be responsible for delivering induction and development training to new employees across various locations within a specific region. This home-based position involves travel around the designated area and requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and deliver induction and development training programs that align with Barchester's objectives and training statistics
- Provide hands-on training on various subjects, focusing on practical application and skill development
- Plan and publish training schedules to ensure effective resource allocation
- Maintain accurate records of employee training files and attendance
- Observe workplace practices and provide constructive feedback
- Arrange induction paperwork and pair new employees with a buddy before their start date
- Foster regular contact with new team members, offering guidance and support as needed
- Attend external meetings and conferences as required to enhance professional development
Requirements:
- C&G 7300 (or equivalent) certification or relevant experience
- Diploma level 3 in Health & Social Care or experience working in the social care sector
- In-depth knowledge of legislative requirements in the care sector
- Minimum 2 years of training experience
- Valid UK driving license
Salary and Benefits:
