Job Title: Events Porter

Join Searcys, the oldest caterer in the UK, and be part of some of London's most prestigious events. As an Events Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our venues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a clean and safe working area, adhering to Searcy Health and Safety requirements.
  • Receive, count, inspect, and store goods and/or equipment, and dispense or dispose of them as required.
  • Coordinate with BEOs and clients to set up the venue according to requirements.
  • Liaise with couriers, clients, and delivery drivers with efficiency, politeness, and coherence.
  • Maintain all areas of the back of the house to a high standard of cleanliness and organization.
  • Report any discrepancies to deliveries to your line manager.
  • Manage and secure liquor stock, and ensure accurate counting and loading.
  • Create and maintain organized files of documentation relating to goods and equipment.
  • Carry out administration work for monthly stock takes as directed by your Line Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements, including fire regulations, security, and Local Authority stipulations.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally.
  • Takes the initiative and demonstrates a high level of organization.
  • Excellent time management and teamwork skills.
  • Demonstrate a high level of record keeping and attention to detail.
