Paraeducator Role: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Paraeducator to join our team at Montgomery County Public Schools. As a Paraeducator, you will provide essential support to teachers and students, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist teachers with implementing the instructional program and supporting student learning.
  • Work with students who require additional support to access the curriculum and achieve academic success.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to develop and implement individualized plans for students.

Requirements:
* Associate's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred
* Two to four years of experience working with children and adolescents; one year of experience in an education-related field preferred
* Knowledge of standard desktop computer hardware and software, including MS Office products and database software

Estimated Salary: $33,000 - $42,000 per year, depending on education and experience

Working Conditions: This is a part-time position, .375 FTE (30 hours bi-weekly), working 10 months a year.
