As a Senior Planning Consultant, you'll play a crucial role in driving business growth by leading large-scale projects and shaping major developments across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage planning projects across residential, commercial, and infrastructure sectors, ensuring compliance with planning regulations and policies.
  • Win new business by building strong client relationships and expanding the company's portfolio, leveraging your expertise to drive business growth.
  • Provide expert planning advice to clients, staying up-to-date with UK planning legislation and policy changes to ensure projects align with current guidelines.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of planning applications, appeals, and related documentation, mentoring and supporting junior planners to develop their skills.
  • Collaborate with industry leaders and experts within a top-tier consultancy, driving forward some of the UK's most exciting projects.
Requirements:
  • Chartered Member of the RTPI (essential).
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar planning role, ideally within a consultancy setting, with a proven track record of winning and maintaining new business.
  • Strong knowledge of UK planning legislation and processes, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting client relationships.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a passion for delivering successful outcomes.
