Senior Critical Facilities Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Critical Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join our team at NTT Global Data Centers EMEA UK Ltd.
Job DescriptionIn this key role, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and implementing the delivery of facilities maintenance services to our data centers. You will ensure operational performance is maintained to the highest possible standards.
You will provide engineering services and guidance on property matters affecting the ongoing management and development of our data centers. This includes providing a customer-focused service, conducting proactive technical evaluations of plant and equipment, accurately recording and reporting maintenance activity, and monitoring equipment performance to ensure correct operation of critical services.
The role involves working as directed to ensure timely completion of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive work to service level agreements (SLAs). You will identify faults, diagnose root causes, and oversee statutory compliance, including water treatment and closed systems.
You will supervise operational and maintenance activities to ensure work is executed safely and suitsably, assist with incident management and investigation, and support shift engineering teams. Additionally, you will coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance activities, maintain accurate plant records, and report system performance.

Requirements- Experience in facilities, operations, or engineering in a data center or critical environment
- Working knowledge and understanding of engineering operations within business-critical environments
- Creating and developing operational procedure documentation
- Excellent attention to detail, flexible approach to service delivery, and ability to discuss technical problems with specialists
- Demonstrable experience in operating and fault-finding complex M&E systems, HVAC, and mechanical systems
- Relevant qualifications: 18th Edition certified, IOSH, Water Treatment L8, F-GAS/J11, IPAF/PASMA
