Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Camden Service for Young People. As a Band 5/6 Speech and Language Therapist, you will be responsible for providing assessment, 1:1 and group interventions to children aged 11-19 years, working closely with school teams and providing universal input such as staff training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat children with language and communication difficulties, providing appropriate specialist assessment and intervention.
  • Monitor and review the progress of children on the caseload, facilitating the development or modification of packages of care/targets as appropriate.
  • Implement interventions and staff development at a whole school level, including joint target setting and outcome monitoring.
  • Liaise and share information with health, educational and other professionals as appropriate, observing data protection guidelines.
Requirements
  • BSc. in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent.
  • Health and Care Professions Council Registration to Practice.
  • Registered Member of RCSLT.
