Role Overview:

The Principal Clinical Data Sciences Programmer uses technical, industrial, and interpersonal skills to program the clinical data management system (CDMS) and Non-CDMS components (including dynamic electronic case report form (eCRF) checks, edit checks, custom programs and integrations) and to develop and maintain programs required for handling external vendor data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports knowledge sharing within the peer group through presentations and preparation of training materials.
  • Support management in, and lead the development & implementation of departmental-wide initiatives.
  • Accountable for the success of multiple clinical data delivery projects in accordance with established timelines, budget, quality standards and/or contractual requirements.

Requirements:

  • Solid knowledge of the requirements, capabilities, and limitations of at least one clinical data management system.
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical environments and clinical data management systems.
