About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Midwife to join our team at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Community Midwife, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to women and their babies in the community setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and provide care to women and their babies in the antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal periods.
  • Provide leadership and act as a good role model to junior staff.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Manage a caseload of women, making decisions and acting on care needs as they arise.

Requirements:

  • Registered Midwife with current NMC registration.
  • Proven experience in midwifery, with a strong understanding of community care.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
