High-Voltage Technician

KHR - Recruitment Specialists is currently recruiting for an Experienced High-Voltage Technician to work at one of our client's sites in Birmingham. This challenging role comes with a competitive salary of £50,000-£65,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled professional who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment, analyzing complex electrical systems and implementing corrective actions to ensure minimal downtime. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of high-voltage equipment, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, as well as experience with continuous improvement techniques.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Prior experience in heavy industry, particularly with 3-phase control systems.
- Knowledge of PLC fault finding and isolation procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to self-organize, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
