About the Role

As a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer at Allied Bakeries, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant and site services. Your responsibilities will include identifying and delivering continuous improvement initiatives, as well as proactive and reactive maintenance and repairs to the plant and site services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and correct automation, electrical, and mechanical issues to resolve breakdown situations.
  • Ensure our engineering strategy is delivered consistently.
  • Deliver turn-key improvement projects in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
  • Drive the performance of the Engineering function forward.
  • Focus on safe working practices and site performance KPIs, including OEE and CCOs.
Requirements
  • A team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Able to train, coach, and assist operators and other engineers.
  • A Higher National Certificate (HNC) in an electrical, automation, or multiskilled engineering discipline is desirable, supported by suitable experience.
  • Enthusiastic and motivated, with a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Flexible and co-operative to assist in meeting business needs.
