Job Title: Night Shift Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Night Shift Engineer to join our team at our Diss site. The successful candidate will work on a night shift basis, with some weekend and Bank Holiday working required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a responsive engineering service to the Site Operations Management Team to ensure high machine availability, efficiency, reliability, safety, and quality standards are achieved and improved upon.
  • Identify and recover fault situations on all processing equipment and ancillary devices.
  • Monitor and adjust equipment and process conditions to ensure 'right first time' quality is achieved.
  • Maximise equipment utilisation by carrying out effective preventative maintenance procedures, timely calibrations, and routine safety checks on all processing equipment.
  • Install and commission new equipment.

Requirements:

  • Apprenticeship trained/HNC qualified in an electrical or mechanical discipline.
  • Recent experience within a manufacturing environment, with both mechanical and electrical experience required.
  • Fault finding on electrical circuits, with experience on AC variable speed drives and DC drives an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Siemens S5, S7, and Allen Bradley PLCs.
