SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of complex needs and be able to provide high-quality support to pupils with Autism, ADHD, and social/emotional mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support pupils with complex needs in a mainstream primary school setting
  • Develop and implement effective behaviour management strategies to promote positive pupil outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure seamless support for pupils
  • Provide individualized support to pupils with varying needs and abilities
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a degree or level 3, in a related field
  • Experience working with pupils with Autism, ADHD, and social/emotional mental health issues
  • Strong understanding of complex needs and ability to provide high-quality support
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
