We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Department for Business and Economics to lead our Business and Economics department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to shape the curriculum and drive academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Business and Economics department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

  • Monitor student progress and use data-driven strategies to support and improve achievement.
  • Take responsibility for the development and implementation of the department's strategic plan.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in a leadership role or as a second-in-command within a department is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to inspire both staff and students.
  • Proven track record of raising academic standards and delivering successful outcomes.
