T&K Associates is currently recruiting for a skilled Welder to join our Client on a permanent basis in Shepshed.

• £14.50 per hour to start with the opportunity of an increase after a successful probationary period is passed
• Paid overtime available once trained at a premium rate of £21.75 per hour
• Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:45pm and Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm
• 40 hour working week

• Laser welding the products
• Completing ad hoc welding
• Completing some mechanical assembly
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Fabrication work on the products
• Quality checking the products
• Relaying build issues to the production manager
• Any other duties as required

• Welding experience is essential – previous experience using a Laser Welder is preferred but not essential.
• Certificate or evidence of Welding training is required.
• Knowledge of reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Co-ordination of hand and eye movements is necessary to produce a good quality product
• A good team player
• Strong attention to detail
