Contract Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to join our team at Russell Taylor Group Ltd. As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for the overall delivery of all aspects of the work, including labour management, financials, and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support clients from pre-planning to completion, ensuring smooth site operations through regular liaison with stakeholders, supervisors, and sub-contractors.
  2. Develop and implement health and safety plans, method statements, and risk assessments to ensure compliance and site safety.
  3. Monitor works and performance against the contract, submitting accurate monthly invoices and final account settlements.
  4. Build effective working relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring excellent communication and collaboration.
  5. Manage a team of supervisors and support staff, providing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and performance.
  6. Ensure financial targets are met, implementing changes as necessary to achieve success.
Requirements:

We require a proactive Contract Manager with experience in delivering public sector contracts in the hard services engineering field. You will have solid experience in MS 365 and facilities management workflow management systems.

You will hold an NVQ level 4 / HND or above in a construction or engineering-related field, as well as a CSCS card, a full UK driving license, and a safety management qualification such as IOSH or SMSTS.

Salary: £60k + dependent on experience
