We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Science Education Coordinator to join our team at The Francis Crick Institute. As a Science Education Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our Institute by developing and implementing education and outreach programs that promote science literacy and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement education and outreach programs that align with the Institute's strategic objectives
  • Collaborate with scientists, educators, and other stakeholders to design and deliver engaging science education experiences
  • Develop and maintain relationships with schools, universities, and other education partners to promote the Institute's education and outreach activities
  • Design and deliver training programs for scientists and educators to enhance their teaching and communication skills
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of education and outreach programs and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements:

  • PhD in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in science education and outreach, preferably in a research institution
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and project management skills

What We Offer:

A competitive salary from £26,800 (£33,500 FTE) with benefits, subject to skills and experience.
