We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Executive to join our team at Dawsongroup Environmental Municipal Civil. This role offers an exciting opportunity to identify and secure long and short-term rentals of our plant product range, as well as other products and services within a specific region.
As a Sales Executive, your responsibilities will include:
- Researching information on potential customers
- Monitoring existing customers' usage
- Maintaining accurate sales records of follow-up visits and current business situations
- Establishing regular contact with decision makers to optimize opportunities through tenders, site surveys, and direct sales
- Following up on inquiries for new rental business
- Maintaining awareness of opportunities to sell second-hand equipment and negotiating prices accordingly
- Visiting recognized suppliers, manufacturers, and service agents to encourage more rentals and liaising on possible joint inquiries
- Ensuring specific sales targets are achieved within set time limits
- Completing all administration accurately and effectively and producing reports
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with Branch staff and customers, keeping them informed of changes and developments in our products and services
- Maintaining awareness of trade and field situations and taking appropriate action to meet changing circumstances
The successful Sales Executive will:
- Possess a strong knowledge and understanding of the plant industry and equipment
- Have a proven sales background within the plant industry and be an experienced negotiator with excellent face-to-face selling skills
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of personal presentation
