Production Operative Role

This is a physically demanding role that requires manual handling and adherence to site policies regarding food hygiene and health and safety.

The successful candidate will work across the production lines within the factory, operating machinery for the processing and filling of milk products.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating a variety of machinery to package products and move them into cold storage ready for distribution
  • Working across the production lines in line with current level of training and operating machinery for processing and filling of milk products
  • Maintaining a clean and hygienic work station and adhering to all site policies regarding food hygiene and health and safety

Important: This role requires manual handling and is physically active.

Location: Tewkesbury

Salary: £11.57-£12.60

Contract: Temp-perm

Hours: Five shifts per week across Monday - Saturday

Transportation: The successful candidate will need to have their own transportation or live within walking/cycling distance of the depot.

Working Hours: Early shift: finish; Late shift: 1400 – finish (Monday - Saturday); 5 shifts over 7 days

Additional Information: As a guide, production finishes by 2200 most days, though this cannot be guaranteed due to production variables.
