Restaurant & Bar Manager - Gloucester

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant & Bar Manager to join our team at Valor Hospitality Europe in Gloucester. As a Restaurant & Bar Manager, you will be responsible for the daily management of our food and beverage outlets, ensuring that the highest standards of service are provided to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and direct the overall food and beverage operation, administration, marketing, and promotion of the outlet.
  • Responsible and accountable for the profitability and revenue generation of the outlet.
  • Ensure constant liaison with the Head Chef, Conference & Events Manager, and Operations Manager.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly forecasts for restaurant, bar, and room service.
  • Implement and maintain control measures to ensure that food and beverage costs, productivity, labor costs, and operating supply costs for the outlet are in line with budget.

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
  • Ability to plan budgets and review forecast for revenue and expenditure on a monthly basis.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work a range of shifts and days, including evenings and weekends.
