Job Overview

The hourly rate for this full-time position is £17.45, with 35 hours worked per week over a 52-week period. Part-time hours will be pro-rated accordingly.

This role requires the employee to work during school holidays, providing continuity of care for children.

Specific working days and hours are as follows:

  • Monday: 10:30-16:45
  • Tuesday: 10:00-15:15
  • Thursday: 08:45-15:15

We are seeking an experienced early years professional to join our team and contribute to delivering high-quality childcare services.

The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues to establish new practices and improve the quality of care within our purpose-built nursery setting.

Key Responsibilities

This position involves working collaboratively with the early years team to provide a responsive and inclusive service that meets the needs of children and their families.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must hold a relevant qualification, such as an HNC in Early Education and Childcare or equivalent, and have up-to-date knowledge of current practice and legislation in early learning and childcare.

Applicants must also be members of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme, as this role involves regulated work with vulnerable children.
