Technical Architect

Cognitive Group | Part of the Focus Cloud Group is seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions that leverage Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and the Power Platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect complex solutions using Dynamics 365 CE, including customizations, plugins, workflows, and integrations with other systems.
  • Develop comprehensive technical designs and architecture documents, including data models, integration designs, and solution frameworks.
  • Utilize Power Platform tools like Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI to build custom business applications, automate processes, and create data-driven insights.
  • Develop custom solutions using C#,.NET, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies to extend Dynamics 365 CE functionality.
  • Implement custom connectors, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and other Azure services to integrate D365 CE with external systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices in coding, design, and architecture.
  • Lead code reviews, ensure code quality, and enforce standards for custom development and solution implementation.
  • Collaborate with other architects, functional consultants, and project managers to ensure alignment on technical solutions.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand technical requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Conduct technical workshops and requirement-gathering sessions to ensure a clear understanding of project objectives.
  • Design and implement data integration and migration strategies using Azure services, SSIS, or custom solutions.

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in C# and the.NET framework, including experience with ASP.NET, Web API, and Entity Framework.
  • Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE customization and extension capabilities, including custom entities, plugins, workflows, and web resources.
  • Proficiency in Power Platform components, including canvas and model-driven apps, Power Automate flows, and Power BI.
  • Experience with Azure services, such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory, and Service Bus.
  • Knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular (optional).
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
