Ledger Clerk Senior Position

Agility Resoucing is looking for an experienced Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team in Manchester. As a key member of the Purchase Ledger Team, you will be responsible for delivering customer-focused services in a fast-paced environment. Your primary duties will include reviewing queried invoices and debit balances, identifying and resolving repeat issues, maintaining Purchase Ledger reporting outputs, managing operational aspects of the account payable ledger and supplier accounts, providing excellent customer service, handling and resolving queries, and continuously improving processes. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility, adaptability, and excellent Excel skills.
Main Responsibilities:
- Review and resolve queried invoices and debit balances to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Identify and resolve repeat issues within the team to maintain efficiency and productivity.
- Maintain Purchase Ledger reporting outputs to provide stakeholders with accurate and up-to-date information.
- Manage operational aspects of the account payable ledger and supplier accounts to ensure smooth processing and payment.
- Provide exceptional customer service to a portfolio of suppliers, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Handle and resolve queries through effective communication and liaison with stakeholders.
- Continuously improve processes to benefit all parties.
