Job Title: SEN Support Assistant

About the Role:
An experienced SEN Support Assistant is required to provide exceptional support and guidance in a school setting. As part of our dedicated team at Dunbar Education, you will play a vital role in supporting students with various learning needs.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as an SEN Support Assistant or in a similar role, with a genuine passion for supporting children with special needs. You will be responsible for working one-on-one or in small groups to provide tailored support, assisting the classroom teacher in implementing differentiated learning activities, and fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as ongoing professional development and training opportunities. Our friendly and welcoming school community provides a supportive working environment where you can grow and develop your skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs
  • Assist classroom teachers in implementing differentiated learning activities
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Monitor and record student progress and provide feedback

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an SEN Support Assistant or in a similar role
  • Genuine passion for supporting children with special needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt and work effectively in a dynamic environment
