About the Role:

Blom and Blom are seeking a qualified Childcare Development Specialist to join their team at an independent day nursery in Hove.

The successful candidate will hold a level 2 or 3 childcare qualification, preferably CACHE, EYE or equivalent, and have a minimum of 6 months experience working in a nursery setting. A clear understanding of the EYFS framework and key worker practices is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children's learning, development, and educational outcomes by creating engaging activities and providing individualized care.
  • Planning and implementing educational programs that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Evaluating and adapting activities to ensure optimal results.
  • Maintaining accurate records of child progress and development.

Requirements:

  • A level 2 or 3 Nursery Nurse/Early Years Practitioner qualification.
  • Familiarity with the EYFS framework and key worker systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
