Transaction Advisory Services Assistant Manager

Grant Thornton UK LLP is a leading professional services firm that provides audit, tax, and advisory services to clients across various industries. Our Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) team is a key part of our business, providing a range of advisory services to clients, including financial due diligence, due diligence to support refinancing, and vendor support.

As a Transaction Advisory Services Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for providing financial due diligence on both buy-side and sell-side transactions for private equity and corporate clients. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide high-quality advice to support their decision-making.

The role involves working on a variety of projects, including financial modeling, data analysis, and report preparation. You will also have the opportunity to work with our clients to identify and mitigate risks, and to develop and implement strategies to achieve their goals.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our TAS team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis and modeling, and experience working with clients in a similar role. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial due diligence on buy-side and sell-side transactions
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide high-quality advice
  • Develop and implement financial models and data analysis
  • Prepare reports and presentations for clients
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and develop strategies to achieve client goals

Requirements:

  • Professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA or CIPFA)
  • Experience in financial analysis and modeling
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
