Job Title

A dynamic Maintenance Engineer is required for a production facility in Staffordshire, focusing on reactive and proactive maintenance of plant, equipment, and auxiliary systems.

This role involves ensuring optimal production efficiency by performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and implementing improvements to existing processes.

The successful candidate will be part of a shift of three engineers providing engineering support to the production area.

The salary for this position is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of plant, equipment, and auxiliary systems
  • Performance of routine maintenance tasks and inspections
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • Implementation of process improvements
  • Collaboration with production teams to ensure seamless operations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline
  • At least 2 years of experience in a maintenance engineering role
  • Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions:

The position requires working varied shifts, including days, nights, and weekends. The candidate should be flexible and willing to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
