The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Headteacher and leading our team at Willow Park School in Milton Keynes.

The Deputy Headteacher will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Headteacher in promoting effective education and care, contributing to the learning, personal development, and well-being of all students.
  • Working closely with the Headteacher, SLT, and colleagues to ensure compliance with statutory regulations.

This role requires strong leadership and management skills, including vision, strategic direction, and organisational structures that reflect the school's values and enable effective management systems and processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing clear, evidence-based improvement plans and policies for the development of the school and its facilities.
  • Implementing, monitoring, and maintaining policies and practices that reflect the school's commitment to excellence and achievement.
  • Establishing communications that foster good relations with stakeholders, external agencies, individuals, and organisations.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS and have a strong track record of supporting senior leaders and driving educational excellence.
