This role offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled Telephonist to join our team at Raigmore Hospital's digital switchboard. You will be responsible for managing a high volume of calls, providing exceptional first-line communication services to both colleagues and the public. Demonstrating a helpful and polite demeanor, you will maintain the highest standards of quality and service.
While previous experience in telecoms would be advantageous, we provide comprehensive training to ensure your success in this role. Your primary focus will be on delivering prompt and efficient services to our callers, adhering to established procedures covering emergencies, alarm activations, and out-of-hours on-call staff expectations.
You must possess excellent communication skills, be able to work collaboratively as part of a team, and demonstrate responsibility as an individual. Adhering to instructions and maintaining good communication skills are essential for success in this position.
The working hours for this role are 18.6 per week, with a schedule that includes alternating weeks with Monday and Tuesday from 23:30 pm to 7 am, and Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 23:30 pm to 7 am. Please note that this role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa, and NHS Highland cannot provide a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).
Based on national averages and industry standards, the estimated salary range for this position is approximately £21,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on location and qualifications. This figure is subject to review and may vary based on individual circumstances.
