The Role:

We are seeking a skilled Lower Limb Prosthetist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and managing patient cases, developing close links with the multidisciplinary team, and maintaining knowledge of available components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and manage patient cases, including expectation and ensuring individual needs are respected.
  • Develop close links with Technicians, Consultants, Management, and Administration to ensure effective patient care and high standards of quality and governance.
  • Cast and rectify models using traditional methods and CADCAM where appropriate.
  • Maintain knowledge of available components and understand their function.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team for effective treatment.
  • Identify service developments and/or improvements to ensure efficient use of resources.

Requirements:

  • A highly motivated and excellent communicator with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
  • Qualified HCPC registered Prosthetist/Orthotist – Post-Graduate experience preferred, but all experience levels considered.
  • Ability to undertake clinical assessment of complex patients with co-existing medical conditions.
