About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Production Engineer to join our team at our Grimsby site. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production lines, contributing to the delivery of high-quality fresh soups for our New Covent Garden brand and private label customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain optimal performance of plant equipment by implementing action plans to address root causes of failures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing efficiency and productivity.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and ensure all work orders and planned maintenance tasks are completed effectively.
- Provide training and support to production staff, empowering them to handle routine maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and achieve production targets.
Qualifications & Skills:
We are looking for an individual with a strong mechanical aptitude, proven experience in a manufacturing environment, and a commitment to safety and quality. A relevant engineering qualification is desirable but not essential.
