Job Overview

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled Renal Care Specialist to join our team. As a Staff Nurse on the Dialysis unit, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • To assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate individualized patient care, ensuring seamless transitions between outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • To work collaboratively with patients and their carers to identify and address physical, spiritual, and emotional needs.
  • To formulate and deliver high-quality dialysis therapy, taking ownership of patients' caseloads and completing monthly reviews as part of ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with relevant diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Literacy & numeracy Level 2 or equivalent (GCSE A-C).
  • Appropriate level of verbal and written English language skills.
  • Experience of working in an acute healthcare environment, with evidence of continuing professional development.

Salary and Benefits
This role comes with a competitive salary of approximately £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also enjoy a range of benefits, including comprehensive training opportunities, mentorship support, and a collaborative team environment.
