Senior Tax Analyst Role at BAE Systems

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Analyst to join our Group Tax team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a global organisation and contribute to the development of employment tax policy and process improvements.

About the Job

The successful candidate will have experience working in an in-house tax team, a function with tax responsibility, or in a professional tax services firm. They will be responsible for providing subject matter tax technical expertise to advise on all areas of employment tax, including compliance filings and payment requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Review and monitor employment tax compliance, including filing and payment obligations.
  • Deliver tax training to the business and proactively engage with HMRC and other tax authorities as needed.
  • Support the Senior Accounting Officer certification for employment taxes.
  • Monitor regulatory changes, interpret implications, and communicate them effectively.
  • Assist in establishing lobbying positions on employment tax issues.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a chartered tax qualification such as ATT or CTA, and proven expertise in employment tax compliance filings and payment requirements. They will also have associated tax technology experience and excellent communication skills.
