Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Teacher of French and Spanish to join our team at an Outstanding school in the Birmingham area. The school is a thriving 11-16 mixed comprehensive with a strong reputation for providing an excellent education to its students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and creative French and Spanish lessons at KS3/KS4, inspiring students to develop a love for languages and achieve their full potential.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote languages and cultural understanding throughout the school, and participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
  • Uphold the school's values and contribute positively to the school community, with a strong commitment to inspiring students to achieve their best.
Requirements:
  • A recognised teaching qualification with a specialism in French or Spanish, and proficiency in both languages with the ability to teach up to KS4.
  • A passion for languages and a commitment to inspiring students to achieve their best, with strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • The ability to design creative and engaging lessons that motivate and challenge students, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
