Public Sector Audit School Leaver Programme

Join Grant Thornton LLP, a global network of independent audit, tax and advisory firms, as a School Leaver in our Public Sector Audit team. As an auditor, you'll work with clients responsible for key public services, connecting with the issues they face and providing assurance to protect the public purse.
Our Public Sector Audit team is a specialist group with over 400 members across the UK, working with clients such as NHS trusts, Fire Authorities, and Local Councils. You'll gain hands-on experience in audit, working on various projects, including the application of state-of-the-art data analytics tools and techniques.
What You'll Do- Work on diverse audit projects, including financial statement audits and assurance engagements.
- Develop your skills in data analytics, using tools such as automated interrogation of financial information systems.
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide robust challenge and market-leading insights to clients.
- Take ownership of interesting and challenging client work, developing your skills and expertise.
- Contribute to the growth and development of our Public Sector Audit team.
