Director of Architecture

About the Role:
Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Architectural Director to join their team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented team leader, Architect, or Technologist to make a significant impact across multiple sectors, including Blue Light, Residential, Commercial, Industrial, and Leisure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a team of architects and technologists, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Deliver high-quality architectural designs and solutions using Revit and BIM, ensuring best practices and standards are met.
- Manage projects effectively from inception through to completion, maintaining close communication with clients and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the strategic development and growth of the business, working closely with senior management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a team leader in an architectural practice, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise across the mentioned sectors.
- Proficiency in Revit and BIM is essential, with hands-on experience in delivering projects using these tools.
- Previous experience in an AJ 100 Practice is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
Relevant Qualifications:
- ARB registered if an Architect or CIAT accredited if applying as a Senior Architectural Technologist.
- Substantial UK based experience.
