Job Description:
The successful candidate will lead and manage the quality department, ensuring timely delivery of quality standards. They will build and develop a high-performing team, drive a culture of “right first time” across all products, oversee First Article Inspection Reports, maintain and update the Quality Manual, ensure compliance with ISO9001 and AS9100 standards, balance quality demands with business needs, and supervise operators and verify each production step.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the quality department
- Ensure timely delivery of quality standards
- Build and develop a high-performing team
- Drive a culture of “right first time” across all products
- Oversee First Article Inspection Reports
- Maintain and update the Quality Manual
- Ensure compliance with ISO9001 and AS9100 standards
- Balance quality demands with business needs
- Supervise operators and verify each production step
Benefits:
This role comes with a competitive salary of £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience. The working hours are Monday to Thursday: 08:30 - 17:00 and Friday: 08:30 - 13:30. The ideal candidate should have proven experience as a Quality Manager in a highly regulated industry, ability to commute to Southampton or willingness to relocate, and existing right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
Estimated Salary: £62,500 per annum.
