Our company is a leading player in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, based in Worksop. We are a large business with a diverse and inclusive workforce, dedicated to delivering top-quality products to our customers.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in a fast-moving consumer goods environment, with a passion for continuous improvement and a site-wide mentality that extends beyond production to all areas of the business.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for leading, coaching, and supporting Team Leaders to drive operational excellence within our Kitchen, always striving to meet and exceed targets for tonnage, cost, and customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for reporting daily and weekly KPIs, offering a detailed account of variances to the production plan, Health & Safety, people, and engineering priorities.
We are looking for someone who is accountable for and drives standards on food safety and legislation requirements and in-house quality standards, always with our end customers in mind.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Health and Safety best practice and current legislative requirements, as well as experience gained in a high-speed volume manufacturing environment.
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including 257.5 hours of holiday per year, plus an additional 8 hours per year of service, 39 hours of pre-booked days to support good wellbeing and self-care, £500 personal learning & development budget, employee discount, cycle to work scheme, and pension.
