Job Description: The Institute of Advanced Manufacturing & Engineering at Coventry University is seeking a highly skilled Technician to work in metrology.

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

You will work with the latest dimensional measurement equipment to support teaching and research activities, including undergraduate, postgraduate, and industry-focused projects.

Additionally, you will provide cutting-edge measurements to partner research groups, advancing research in areas such as structural integrity, digital manufacturing, and laser processing.

Requirements:

  • A degree or GNVQ Level 4 equivalent discipline, or significant relevant experience.
  • Ideal candidate has experience in providing technical support for laboratory-based teaching, calibrating, maintaining, and updating equipment.
