Working Environment

We are seeking a passionate, hardworking, and driven chef to join our team at Lexington Catering. As a kitchen team member, you will work with fresh ingredients and be willing to work in all sections of the kitchen.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure food preparation and control meet requirements in respect of COSHH, Food Safety, and Health & Safety regulations are adhered to and any incidents are reported.
  • Support the Head Chef in maintaining, ordering, and controlling food stocks within budget.
  • Responsible for maintaining up-to-date product and menu knowledge, and maintaining a high standard of food preparation and presentation, ensuring portion and quality control.
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness of all areas in the kitchen and of equipment.

Skills and Experience

In this role:

  • You will have proven experience of working within a kitchen for 3 years or more.
  • You will have excellent communication skills and be a strong team player.
  • You will possess outstanding time-keeping skills and be passionate about food.
  • You will be focused on the front line.
