Located at Bournemouth Airport, this Aircraft Refinisher position is responsible for ensuring aircraft surfaces are prepared and painted to the highest standards. Key responsibilities include surface preparation, painting, and finishing, as well as troubleshooting and maintaining aircraft parts and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and paint aircraft surfaces to exacting specifications.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safe working practices.
• Carry out troubleshooting on turbo prop & jet aircraft.
• Apply ground power to aircraft.
• Remove and install flying controls and remove damaged fasteners.
• Install seats.
• Jacking & levelling of aircraft types relevant at MRO.
• Perform visual inspections.
• Knowledge and experience of working to aircraft specification for surface treatments.
• Operate and maintain painting equipment.
• Open and close panels & inspect their condition.
• Understand and service aircraft water systems.
• Work in a component workshop/wheel bay to understand basics of wheels/brakes and associated paperwork.
• Use technical manuals and identify applicable data for task instructions or illustrated parts catalogue interpretation (IPC).
