Job Title: Graduate Teaching Assistant

Job Description:

Are you looking to develop your classroom experience and take the first step into education?

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate to support children in Key Stage 1 and 2 with their learning and ensure a safe and positive environment for them to thrive in. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will provide support to the teacher and take small groups to ensure the children are on task and meeting the learning objectives set by the teacher.

The ideal candidate will be committed, enthusiastic and demonstrate a passion for working with children. This role is perfect for a graduate aspiring to become a teacher in the future, as it will help to build your confidence, knowledge and experience on the other side of the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support to the teacher in the classroom

Take small groups to ensure the children are on task and meeting the learning objectives set by the teacher

Support children in Key Stage 1 and 2 with their learning

Requirements:

A graduate with a passion for working with children

Commitment, enthusiasm and a desire to develop your classroom experience

Ability to work as part of a team and provide support to the teacher
