Job DescriptionAbout the Role

Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily operations of Heathrow line station, with occasional support for Gatwick station. Ensure 100% guarantee of seat functionality on departing aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety Management: Ensure workplace safety, manage safety from a regulatory perspective for compliance.
  • Scheduling: Plan and coordinate weekly shift patterns for site personnel in alignment with customer flight schedules.
  • Inventory and Logistics: Manage Inventory Control and local logistics for customers and Panasonic Avionics capital assets.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Create schedules for preventive maintenance of systems installed on customer aircraft during holds.
  • External Contacts: Maintain daily interactions with customers at line maintenance level, liaise with local airport authorities.
  • Onboard Maintenance: Perform onboard maintenance activities, fill in for absent employees when required.
  • Supervision: Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate direct reports.
Requirements
  • Background in Aircraft Line Maintenance.
  • Working knowledge of Safety Management in Aviation.
  • Regulatory licensing for assigned country or geographical region, and customer requirements UK CAA B1 or B2.
  • Experience as a lead/crew chief/supervisor/mentor.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, or equivalent products.
