Commercial Gas Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team at HVAC Recruitment Ltd in West London. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for servicing commercial boilers, handling gas boosters, managing breakdowns, leaks, fault-finding, planned and reactive maintenance, and more.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading maintenance service provider and be part of one of the largest retail contracts in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Boiler Servicing and Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial boilers to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Gas Booster Management: Handle the installation, maintenance, and repair of gas boosters to ensure a safe and reliable supply of gas.
  • Breakdown and Leak Management: Respond to emergency breakdowns and leaks, and perform repairs to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Fault-Finding and Diagnostic: Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify and resolve complex issues with commercial gas systems.
  • Planned and Reactive Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal system performance.

  • On-Call Bonus: Participate in our on-call rota every 6 weeks and receive an additional £115 per stand-by, which can add up to £989 on top of your salary.
Requirements:
  • Commercial Gas Engineer Qualifications: Hold relevant qualifications and certifications, such as City & Guilds or NVQs in commercial gas engineering.
  • Experience: Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial gas engineering, with a proven track record of servicing and maintaining commercial boilers and gas systems.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to lift and carry heavy equipment, and work at heights.
